EXPERIENCE OF AMAZING TWO HOURS



It's pleasure to write another blog post about the amazing lecture i had to experience 
in my life on just a week ago as an incredible webinar experience. it was an incredible
 moment to me because i had the opportunity to get clear explanation about the difference
 between both traditional and recent technology used lectures and live discussions.

According to my view live webinar gives the opportunity to do the lectures, seminas, and conferences to people who are living in the areas where very uncomfortable to reach and meet live.this makes more easier to any one to do their work very steadily and properly.

i was in eager to take part a web based lecture and it came true to experience with Search Engine Optimization which was conducted by Mr. suranga from Sydney and made a mammoth knowledge about that. 

This gives the evidence to world that this webinar makes a huge service and evolution to the
 users to make their efforts comfortable and excellent.His slide shows also gave an attraction to 
the students and his style of teaching mede no boring and established needness to learn it.

As it needs to protect time to any one  this makes an intelligent way as they don't want to meet 
physically. The person who needs to enter this task can use an appropriate software and perform it.
This is one of the most cost effective ways to fulfill that task properly. This is the best way to conduct
lectures of digital marketing as a subject which eager to learn with modern technology which is fully 
usable in practicable knowledge.

if there is any difference between the distance of persons who are anywhere in the world, it becomes a useless matter to consider with this system.Mr. Amila suranga's effort to give a clear idea about webinar made more successful as all the students got a clear idea of it.

Finally most of the students were very eager to ask questions from him as it was more attractive there.
This is a great effort of department of marketing to give a vast knowledge of this subject through a great system like this and finally be thankful to both Mr.Amitha and Mr.Suranga for giving this golden opportunity for all of us...........!

Web usability – dialog.lk


If we go through the internet we can meet lot of web sites which are different with options and preferences. You might have visited thousands of web sites and would have contradictory thoughts and evaluations of them. From my second blog post I would be critically considering about web development through the web usability. Among the leading companies Dialog keeps a greater position and I hope to evaluate that through dialog.lk based on the checklist given.

Accessibility
1.       Site loading time
Site loading time of dialog web site is not too long as it takes about 6 5 seconds.

2.       Adequate test to background contrast
The color changes in to different positions of background. So there can see a normal contrast between background and text.

3.       Font size, spacing is easy to read
Fonts are big and highlighted as can see in some necessary places of vital information. it’s sometimes make small and difficult to read.

4.       Flash /add- ons are used sparingly
It’s available with flash and add-ons and continues normally with no restriction to the users and no disturbance for any surfing.

5.       Images have appropriate ATL tags
It’s difficult to find ATL tags in the web site.

6.       Site has a  not found / 404 page
It’s available with a customized page.

Identity
1.       company logo is prominently placed
The logo appears in front of the web site and It can be seen when you enter the web site with the attracting colors and positions.
2.       Tag line
Tag line can’t be seen there.
3.     Home page is digestible in 5 seconds
It takes almost about 5 seconds to digest as there can see many information on the home page.
4.     Clear path to company information
With the links available you can obtain many information and by clicking more possible to find many.
5.     Clear path to contact information
Contact details can be gathered many pages and dialog means a communication. So their main purpose is to give much contact service as expected by the customers. In most of the pages you can see the contacts.

Navigation
 
1.     Main navigation is easily identifiable
Through the different parts and links available and as you can see in the images not difficult to identify the main navigations.

2.     Navigation labels are clear and concise
Navigation labels such as offers, lower rates, IDD low charges are very clear to see very consistently

3.     Number of buttons and links are reasonable
It’s fit to the line expecting the user and even with the fonts. So they are really reasonable.

4.     Company logo is linked to the home page
When we click on the logo it makes the path to home page.

5.     Links are consistent and easy to identify
As they appear in a manner which is with clear links it makes an easy form to identify.

6.     Site search is easy to access
It’s easy to access as the search button is available at the side.

Content
1.    Major headings are clear and descriptive
You can see major headings as the links and when you need to enter  them you need to go through links.
2.    Critical content is above the “fold”
Main areas are covered with the logo and vital details about the rates and offers are under the logo.
3.    Styles and colors are consistent
The logo is colored with white background and mix of colors in dialog. If you go through links it also contains some color differences.
4.    Emphasis is used sparingly
Some parts are with bold and some emphasizes are there to see.
5.    adds and pop ups are unobtrusive
Pop ups are not seen much. But some ads are available.
6.    Main copy is concise and exploratory
Content is clear without any confusion. Not taking much time to clear the images and provide soon what customers expect to achieve.
7.    URLs are meaningful and user friendly
As the URL is with the name of the company it is quite meaningful.
8.    HTML page titles are explanatory.
It’s always explanatory as HTML pages are based on the pages visited.

As a leading company Dialog will make a great effort to more come through or  development of the web site

GLOBALIZED SRI LANKAN CONSUMER



Any one is proud to be a Sri Lankan in every hand and also no one will hesitate to say that “I am a Sri Lankan”. When talking about Sri Lanka it’s great to speak about Sri Lankan consumer. It’s difficult to conceal one truth which percentage of globalized Sri Lankan consumers is increasing day by day.

In simply says, globalization means worldwide movement toward economic, financial, trade, and communications integration. It implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world. It’s ideal to know that who have engaged in this process of globalization and which factors effect to this. Everyone knows that who is the consumer and how valuable his tasks in different ways.

Under this explanation trying to talk about people, but about the knowledgeable consumers who makes the decisions at correct times. Globalization has made broader through information, technology and expanded business knowledge of the Sri Lankan consumer day by day. Through this article I intend to talk about globalized consumer through Sri Lankan view.
Sri Lankan consumers always try to link with bondless opportunities in global market through decision making process under technological and communicational developments. Using internet of Sri Lankan consumers is rapidly increasing and it expands opportunities to find new products and services while they expect online ordering, online purchasing and online payment by using internet and digital media.
Very often today’s business doesn’t depend on old systems like stock keeping, but dealing throughout the world with new technology even without seeing each other. As mentioned earlier 14.8% of Sri Lankans using internet and get opportunity to deal with overseas. Online shopping facilities such as E-bay, kapruka, Amazon and releasing the restrictions for import makes much easier to consumer to become globalised. 

Sri Lankan consumers tend to buy globally recognized brands through globally distributed companies and imported products available. It’s happy to say that Sri Lankan tourism is rapidly growing day by day as a result of end of war and local consumers get massive opportunities to meet global offers which are very rare to get.
Nowadays Sri Lankan consumers possess unlimited global consumption through global courier companies TNT express, FED-EX. Making more arrangements through building up some infrastructure in Sri Lanka such as southern express highway, new air ports and etc.. , consumers get wide offers to meet their expectations. As a Sri Lankan consumer you can widely think that you have no permission to become a non globalized hand, because you have already become a genuine globalised consumer. Be proud and think more……….!
